Ready for Another Man Well, I am still in love with you, you know And I know that I am lost And I want a friend who makes me feel o.k. Well, you’re breaking down the lightbulbs In the circuits of my mind I see my happiness but it’s far away Well, I don’t know how long My heart is gonna want this And I don’t know if I will I will ever be the same I can see a crystal vision Of a life that’s right for me And I can hear it when I hear them speak your name Chorus And I know, that some day I’ll be different And I know, that all this is coming to an end But that makes me kind of sad Cos I won’t really be so glad I’ll just be ready for fallin’ down again I’ll just be ready for another man I had a picture in my eyes I thought you’d never make me cry It was the first page in a life of poetry It’s hard to look back now regretting But I don’t wanna be forgetting How I thought that I was you and you were me Chorus At least my friends have had some lovers In their lifetimes At least there’s hope for love In their reality I don’t know why I’ve been unlucky I guess cos I don’t play the game I see your face and that is all that I can see Chorus Copyright © 2006 Marie Conniffe
